Playing with Needles

So for Christmas my mother gave me a set of tatting needles, something I've been wanting to try my hands at for quite a while now. So I started a mask using TotusMel's flower pendant I'm working it with my largest needle and the remainder of my super large size 3 thread (previously used for a mask back in November you may remember, it was for a friend down in Virgina).

Still working on this, in the meantime though, I just had to try the size 80 thread thats been lying around tempting me for the last couple of months. I decided to make a ring my tale wasn't quite long enough so it didn't come out exactly as planned, I'm still very happy with it.

 My parents say it's a good thing I'm near sighted lol.
