At the range

Went shooting today with a bunch of my guy friends. It was so fun! That thing in my hands is a 10 millimeter, it was my favorite.  On the way home I got two of those huge cans of raspberry Arizona Ice tea for 84 cents! Yep yep! Bonfire soon.

Counting on Your Fingers

Adventure become more of a reality when you can start counting out the days on your fingers. I have 10 full days left until I leave. Today is range day at my friends and I can't wait to shoot his pretty guns. Tonight, bonfire, I'll try to takes pictures. Also don't know if I mentioned, but I got a nice big suitcase, 62 linear inches, free from my neighbor, such a blessing. And I go to get my visa on Monday.

Yellow crochet beret

Just finished a crocheted yellow beret, and I love it! It could have been a little bigger but I didn't make the pattern, I'll just have to fix it next time.

No Show

The sun pulled a no show this morning. So it was just me and my coffee.

Silhouetted Sunrise

I have 12 days left, I feel like I ought to have something planned for every precious day, but my calendar still has blanks in it, which is okay. Youth Group tonight, range day and then bonfire Saturday night.  So I promised you (and myself) sunrise pictures every morning 'till I leave. However, I did not get up before the sun this morning. I woke up, but then I fell back asleep and had a terrible dream that there was no coffee, it was simply awful!

Dye, I wish!

So I was looking for Dutch braids and how to do them when I ran across this page, my jaw dropped in admiration of this beautiful colorful fishtail. Isn't it gorgeous!? It makes neon blue luke like a natural hair color! Well that's my opinion. Anyhow this started a Facebook photo album entitled I would if I could. I wish I could do this to my hair but considering I'm starting a position as a teacher in 2 weeks, it's absolutely out of the question. Well, for now at least. Someday I plan to start and album called I did it, so "when" I dye my hair like this it's totally going in it. Maybe when I come back to the states. for now all I can do is,

*SIGH*

13 Suns

So mom woke me this morning to go see the sunrise, unfortunately I'll only be seeing 13 more sunrises like this, over my beloved bay. I'm gonna try to go see it every morning 'till I leave, and of course take pictures to share with you.

Happy Music

So my room needs cleaning and happy music like this is most helpful! Hope you enjoy it!

Philadelphia Excursion

This past Saturday mom and I went up to visit my sister-in-law in Philadelphia. We visited the Mutter Museum which was  very ... interesting. Then we took my mom to see Anthropologie. I must say that though I only own three things from Anthropologyie and there prices are so ridiculous I would most likely never purchase anything from them myself. However, it is definitely my favorite store. (it's like Breakfast at Tiffany's). At any rate I took some lovely pictures of some lovely places and I am going to share them with you.

We got some delicious smoothies, mine had guarana in it :D

Then we passed this lovely little place called the Dandelion.

And this lovely (don't know what it is).

And Vwalah!

I love this wall

Even the floor is pretty.

Wonderful vintage hardware store piece.

Shelves of wonder

I will make shelves out of drawers someday!

Old Ski Lift, wouldn't this make the perfect reading nook?

Anthropologie is definitely my favorite store. It is always an inspirational time, you know when I begin thinking again just how much I would love to be a clothing designer. Also Anthropologie earned an extra

100 cool points that day by playing Eisley

New Glasses and Viza

Well yesterday was my beautiful mothers birthday and we had to go to the mall and they have dollar movies on tuesday and wednesday so we (mom, me and my fiends Cal and Pete) went to see the return of Nanny McPhee, it was pretty fun :) Then I got my new glasses and was surprised to find my mom making a going away present out of them. I really like them, they're a little more red than in the picture. Last night we watched Lemony Snickets and the Serious of Unfortunate Events and I loved it. Also my paperwork for my Visa finally went through on the China end and I will be able to get a visa before I leave in 19 days,  man it's getting close! Anyhow going to a bagel shop and then the boardwalk with some old high school friends. It'll be good to see them again before I leave. Have a loverly day!

Lets go 22 ~ fly by tea

It's been far too long since my last post or at  least so it seems to me. I will note my last post was a little on the dramatic side and I'd recovered by the next morning. In the meantime, we held our Second Annual Tea Party, and I snagged some news about China. But first things first.

Friday I spent most of the day making, wild rose jelly, clotted cream, scones and lavender sugar cookies. Saturday I went surf fishing with my daddy and caught nothing but fun. Then I had to go to work (cleaning at church) my friend stopped by to pick up his phone and then we all went to lunch. After that I went and watched Sucker Punch with a bunch of friends, I rather liked it. Then sunday we held our second annual tea party. The following are my favorite pictures of this.

Well enough of this tea by the Sea. I have 22 days left till I leave for China and I have so much to do!  At the moment I'm still waiting for paperwork to come though for my visa, but I'm not worried about that much. I also need another suitcase and I'm going to get new glass's tomorrow. Not to mention all the time I need to spend with friends and family.
